Chinese-American seniors enjoy their happy life. 1987年興建康寧大廈 The Construction of Hong Ning House Apartments in 1983   一九八七年，由僑聯主席余文裕出任建樓董事長，鄧桐臻向市政府溝通，而建樓小組和熱心人士成立資助團，借貸到廿四萬元，並向聯邦政府争取到一百卅多萬的撥款，建起了康寧大厦。 Many GUAGP leaders and members contributed to the construction of the Kong Ning House Apartments. In 1987, CUAGP President Wenyu Yee served as Chairman for the construction project, Dongzhen Deng worked with the City Government, and the construction team with interested parties obtained a loan of $240,000 and funding of $1,300,000 from the Federal Government.   1989年興建斐匿中文學校 Building Chinese Linguistic School of Phoenix in 1989   OCAC contributed to the building of Phoenix Chinese School. 八十年代華人激增，1989年僑聯向國府僑委會争取到七萬元撥款，又從建樓款項中提出四萬元，興建起斐匿中文學校，並於1990年開課。中文學校創辦後學生大增，為了擴建校舍，僑聯領導冒着酷暑四處籌款七萬多元，把中文學校再度擴建。   As Chinese-American population exploded in the 1980s, CUAGP built the Chinese Linguistic School of Phoenix in 1989, with $70,000 government funding from Taiwan Overseas Chinese Affairs Council (OCAC) and $40,000 drawn from the construction fund. Since the inception of the school in 1990, the number of students had increased significantly. Hence, CUAGP leaders braved the heat from one place to another and raised over $70,000 for the expansion of the school.   1994年擴充華人耆英會館 Expansion of the Chinese Senior Center in 1994 1994年，華人耆英會會員已達五百人，早期的會所已不敷使用，僑聯總會發動全僑募捐，僑聯屬下十六個團體和廣大僑民紛紛响應，總共籌到廿九萬四千元，這是鳯凰城開埠以來華人捐出最大的一筆款項，把原來的耆英會擴充了一倍以上的面積，成為一個美侖美奐的新耆英會館。   As members of Phoenix Chinese Senior Citizen Association reached five hundred  in 1994, the early center had become inadequate for use. CUAGP launched a fundraising campaign and raised a total of $294,000 from all its sixteen member organizations and their members. This amount has been the largest sum of money Phoenix Chinese-Americans have ever donated since the inception of the City of Phoenix. As a result, the original senior center was expanded more than doubled in size and became a fantastic new Senior Center. 2007年興建耆英康樂大厦 Construction of the Kong Lok Senior Housing Center in 2007   2007年，僑聯向聯邦政府申請到五百多萬元興建康樂大廈，並於2011年落成剪彩。 In 2007, CUAGP obtained over five million Federal Government funding for the construction of the Hong Lok Senior Housing Center, which was completed in the ribbon-cutting in 2011. 4.由僑聯創辦的"中國周"延續至今 The Chinese Week founded by CUAGP continues today 由僑聯創辦的"中國周"延續至今 The Chinese Week founded by CUAGP continues today   中國周活動 CUAGP leaders and People from the mainstream society at Chinese Week. 5.鳳凰城僑聯活動剪輯 Event Clips of Phoenix Chinese-American Organizations     僑聯慶祝美國立國200周年紀念 Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States in 1976.   More than 20,000 members from over 150 countries worldwide attended the Lions Clubs International Annual Conference in Phoenix in 1981. Lung Kong Tin Yee Association presented an award plaque to Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao in 2008.
